SECOND STOP: Norway

First test: Clue number 2: It is the longest glacier in europe: The Jostedalsbreen's glacier.



WHERE IS IT? : It is situated in Sogn og Fjordane county in Western Norway.

WHAT’S IT TOTAL AREA? : Jostedalsbreen has a total area of 487 square kilometres. It  has a length of a little more than 60 kilometres and covers over half of the national park.

WHAT’S THE HIGHEST POINT? : The highest peak in the area is Lodalskåpa at a height of 2,083 metres
WHAT’S THE NAME OF THE PARK WHERE IT IS SITUATED? : The glacier is located in the Jostedalsbreen National Park,  which was established in 1991 and covers 1,310 square kilometres.
